I totally fell in love with the Starbucks Iced Cinnamon Almondmilk Macchiato, but was so tired of spending so much money on it, so I found a way to just make it myself. I have played around with the recipe a little bit, hence 2 different pictures. When I first started making them, I used the ingredients in the top picture. I have recently changed up some of the ingredients I use, which are shown in the bottom picture. Both ways are good, though. Below, I will tell you what I do to make this amazing drink.
I really don’t use any specific measurements when making this drink, I just eye it all as I am pouring it in.
First, I brew some Espresso, just whatever amount I think I will want to drink the next day, and stick it in the fridge over night so it will be cold.
I then pour in the Caramel sauce and Vanilla Almond Milk.
Then I top it all with the Cinnamon flavored sugar. The reason I use this instead of actual cinnamon is because I have a hard time getting the cinnamon to mix well with all of the other ingredients and I really do not like a mouth full of cinnamon when I am drinking this. Just YUCK!
Lastly, I put 3-4 ice cubes in it, but not your typical ice cubes. This is a game changer so pay close attention!! Even though the coffee is cold, the ice cubes will still melt. And if you use normal ice cubes, your drink will get watered down and that’s just no fun. SOOOO I brew come coffee, whether it be plain black or flavored, and fill up ice trays! This way, when they melt, I have coffee and not water.
