Why yes I did!! Hello lovelies! I hope you are all having a fantabulous Tuesday. If I have never mentioned before, I will now, I am a HUGE sweet-a-holic!! I think I get it from my grandfather lol He used to sample every single dessert ever brought to a get together. I do try to be a little aware of what I am eating and putting in my body, though, and find healthy versions of desserts I enjoy. This week I am going to share a brownie recipe that is actually quite tasty. When I was baking these, they smelled exactly like the ones I would normally make from a box. They don’t taste like them, but they have good flavor and I thought of a great topping for these as well, which I will share below.
The pictures above are a list of ingredients and of the items that I used.
You need to preheat the oven to 400 degrees and grease whatever pan you would like to use. I ended up using a cupcake pan and made 9 brownies with this mix.
I poured all of my ingredients into a large bowl and used a wire whisk to mix everything up. It took a little time to get it all mixed because of the cocoa powder, but it all blended well and came out smooth. I ended up baking these closer to 30 minutes, but you may want to check them at 20 minutes just in case your oven bakes a little faster than mine.
After they were done baking, I placed the pan on a hot pad on my counter to allow them to cool. Then I just used a butter knife to go around the edges of the brownies so I could pop them out. They came out very easy since the pan was greased.
If these are not enough for you and you feel like you need to add a little something to them, I took a tablespoon of PB2, peanut butter powder, mixed it with water, and spread it on top. OMG!!! It was delish!!
I hope you all enjoyed this post and that you have a bad Ash day!! 🙂
If you try these let me know what you think.
